Callum McKenzie oversees Flexy’s daily operations and lending strategy. His background includes a wide range of projects, from full renovations involving gutting and rebuilding properties, to re-clads, major building works, and house conversions. Additionally, Callum has consented townhouse subdivisions for private builders and is actively involved in his own small subdivision projects.
Before founding Flexy, Callum raised private finance for his own projects, and engaged in vendor financing for properties he sold. Recognising the gap in the market for flexible and accessible finance options, he created Flexy. The company aims to offer the same type of finance solutions that Callum successfully utilised during his active years as a property trader to a wider audience of investors.
This diverse experience equips Callum with the knowledge to assess loan applications effectively. His hands-on approach and keen market insight enable him to evaluate the situation and strategy of potential borrowers, ensuring that Flexy’s lending decisions are both prudent and secure.

Step one:
Sign Up and AML Verification:
Complete an investor application form, a legal requirement for Flexy to work with you. This registration does not commit you to invest.
Our compliance partners at AMLHub will verify your AML profile with Flexy at no cost to you.
Step two:
Review investments:
Receive investment options via email, including loan terms (but not details which would identify the borrower) and the suburb of the property.
Confirm your investment by completing the investment agreement for the loan.
Step three:
Deposit and earn returns:
Deposit funds into Flexy’s holding account 2 days prior to the loan advance.
Relax as Flexy manages the investment, including loan disbursement, monitoring, and repayment, while you receive great returns.

Purpose: Borrower has purchased a trade property at mortgagee sale. They have other trade property sold and pending settlement, so need an equity release to start the renovation on the new project.
Repayment Plan: The borrower has sold another property with settlement funds enough to repay the loan in one month.

Flexy helps with three main things: GST Loans, Equity Release, and Investor Services. GST Loans lower initial deposits for settlement (eg you may only need 20% deposit). Equity Release lets you get cash from your property without changing your main bank loan. Investor Services help wholesale investors earn money by investing in property loans.

Flexy is different because we provide another layer of funding after your first lender. We approve loans quickly, often on the same day. Callum McKenzie, Flexy’s founder, has lots of experience in property finance, so you can trust us to make smart and secure lending decisions.
We work fast! Most loans are approved on the same day. We usually advance within four business days, once AML and documents are completed.
The loan amounts depend on the service. For GST Loans, we can fund over 80% LVR when combined with certain lenders. For Equity Release, we can lend up to 80% LVR, with a maximum second mortgage loan size of $150,000. This depends on the location and type of property.
